Elected into the NHL Hockey Hall of Fame in 1966, Max Bentley played the center position with the Reds during the 1940-41 season. He tallied 4 goals and 6 points in his 9 games with the club.<\/p>\n

Over his 12 NHL campaigns, he amassed 245 goals and 544 points between 1940 and 1954.<\/p>\n

In 1942\u201343, Max made NHL history when he played on the league’s first all-brother line with Doug and Reg.<\/p>\n

Bentley was a member of three Stanley Cup Trophy winners with the Toronto Maple Leafs in 1947, 1948 and 1950. He was a 2-time winner of the Art Ross Trophy as the league\u2019s top scorer and won the Hart Memorial Trophy and was voted the league\u2019s Most Valuable Player in 1945.<\/p>\n

Like Johnny Bower and Milt Schmidt, he was voted one of the NHL\u2019s \u201c100 Greatest Players\u201d of all time at the league\u2019s centennial celebration on January 1, 2017.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>
